Manitou Springs announces expected six-hour water shutoff for infrastructure work

KRDO

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The City of Manitou Springs announces that the water main on Manitou Avenue will be temporarily shut off for critical repairs to the water infrastructure.

Officials confirm that businesses and properties between Canon Avenue and Pawnee Avenue will likely be affected by the repairs, which are expected to take up to six hours.

Once the water is back on, the city says customers may see discolored water or suspended air bubbles and recommends running the water in the building until it clears.
