Tracking Monsoon Moisture

Good evening!

What a difference a week makes! A week ago we were talking about temperatures in the mid to upper 90s and today we saw temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. We also saw our fair share of rain today across southern Colorado. Many of you saw some decent rainfall amounts, and it appears that we're looking at more rain in the 7-day forecast.

As we head later into the evening hours, we'll see the rain begin to slowly taper off. Plan on partly to mostly cloudy skies for your overnight with low temperatures in the upper 50s.

Plan on a similar setup for your Sunday with showers and thunderstorms likely during the afternoon hours. High temperatures tomorrow will be a little warmer, in the low 80s. Once again, we may see some severe thunderstorms and locally heavy rain. Certainly stay tuned to KRDO for the latest weather coverage.

We will dry things out somewhat for the start of the workweek, with more showers and thunderstorms expected by the middle of the week, with temperatures in the mid 80s.

Enjoy the rest of your overnight and stay safe!
