Pikes Peak Library District launches newest addition to mobile library

Pikes Peak Library District

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) announced the newest part of its mobile libraries Thursday.

Booksy is the newest member of the mobile library fleet PPLD has. The libraries operate across the region and offer a chance to members to visit and check out books without visiting a traditional library.

Folks who are interested still need a free library card from PPLD, but they can be used at any mobile or physical location. Officials say most of the books can be checked out for six weeks, but they also have a rapid read option for quick readers.

Booksy will be travelling around the region shortly. More information on mobile library stops for the month of August is available on PPLD's website.
