L.L. Bean store set to open in Colorado Springs this fall

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pikes Peak Regional Building Department announces that L.L. Bean is opening in the Promenade Shops at Briargate this fall.

According to officials, the business is replacing the Container Store on the east edge of the mall. The location is undergoing a $2 million remodel project, says PPRBD.

L.L. Bean is an American retail company that was founded in 1912 in Maine. The store specializes in clothing, shoes, and outdoor recreation equipment and is known for creating the duck boot, also known as the Bean Boot, according to its website.
