Two hospitalized after road rage incident on I-25, police say

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Two people are in the hospital after what police are calling a road rage incident on Interstate-25.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to a crash involving a pickup truck and motorcycle around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The incident happened on I-25 near the Fontanero Street exit.

An initial investigation had suggested speed and reckless driving as factors in the crash. A witness later came forward and told police the pickup had intentionally hit the motorcycle. Officials say the driver, Larry Jarman, was taken into custody later.

Officials say both occupants of the motorcycle were taken to the hospital, one with serious bodily injury.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact CSPD.
