CPW offering free entry to all state parks for all visitors to celebrate ‘Colorado Day’

STATEWIDE, Colo. (KRDO) -- In honor of Colorado's 150th birthday, all Colorado state parks will have free entry on Monday, Aug. 3.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) says the free entry will allow visitors a chance to enjoy Colorado state parks and enjoy the state parks.

CPW says other park fees, including camping reservations, boat and vehicle reservations and hunting or fishing licenses are still in effect for that day.

The free entry is part of the state's 150th events that include "Adventure Day" and the 14er Climb. More information on CPW's state birthday celebrations are available on their website.
