Heavy rain causing flooding in Fremont County

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Heavy rain and storms across the southern parts of Colorado is causing flooding on a road in Fremont County.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) says it has deputies on the scene of a flooded road in the Copper Gulch Road area of County Road 28. Officials say they are working with the Deer Mountain Fire Department.

FCSO says the road was impassable and traffic was being diverted. The road was reopened around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
