Motorcyclist dies month after accident on I-25 in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A motorcyclist has died a month after a crash on northbound I-25 near Circle Drive.

62-year-old David Joseph died on June 30 while under hospice care, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

According to officials, when officers arrived at the scene on June 6 of this year, around noon, citizens were already providing medical assistance to Joseph. Joseph had collided with a car and had been thrown off his motorcycle and down an embankment.

Joseph was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to CSPD. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The investigation is still open, and anyone with information is asked to call CSPD.
