PHOTOS: Children’s Hospital Colorado Fourth of July NICU celebration

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Children's Hospital Colorado, Colorado Springs, is sharing photos from the NICU center as they celebrate the Fourth of July.

The Celebration Committee, which includes NICU nurses, volunteers and more, came together to dress up babies currently in the NICU in Fourth of July gear.

From star sunglasses to red, white and blue onesies, the hospital says the celebration was a way to enjoy the holiday as families spend time with their newborns during their journey.
