Suspected Penn State student killer arrested in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The search for a suspected killer may have come to a close in an unlikely location.

The United States Marshall Service, USMS, says 16-year-old Azzubair Outen-Fleming was arrested in Colorado Springs following a search lasting more than three weeks. Outen-Fleming is suspected of slaying 22-year-old William "Billy" Schmidt, according to ABC News.

The USMS says Outen-Fleming was arrested by the Colorado Violent Offender Task Force at a distant relative's home after attempting to deny his identity.

Outen-Fleming was booked into the Zebulon Pike Youth Center ahead of extradition back to Philadelphia.
