COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash at Academy and Astrozon that happened on April 2.

On April 2, CSPD says that they responded to a hit-and-run crash where a vehicle struck a motorcyclist then fled the area and struck multiple property items.

According to CSPD, a witness on the scene saw the vehicle flee and eventually crash into a curb. The witness then contacted 911 and directed officers to the driver where he was placed in custody.
