WEATHER ALERT: Snow and Cold Arrives Wednesday

TONIGHT: Cold front arrives tonight with partly cloudy skies and cool overnight with morning lows in the 20's and 30s around the Pikes Peak region and low-40s for the eastern plains

TOMORROW: Chilly with highs in the 30's and 40's and brisk north winds 10-15 mph. A rain/snow mix likely Wednesday afternoon with a transition to slushy, wet snow Wednesday evening and lingering through Thursday morning

EXTENDED: Decreasing clouds by Thursday with some partial clearing by Thursday night. Highs will still be chilly in the 30's to low 40's with snow wrapping up for the high country by the afternoon. A gradual warming trend returns by Friday and will last through the weekend.
