Arrest made after deadly stabbing in downtown Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a stabbing near Prospect Lake on South Cedar St. on Oct 21.

Officers found an adult male suffering from at least one stab wound when they arrived. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

CSPD arrested 22-year-old Marianna Guerra for murder in the 1st degree. Police say that all parties are accounted for and there is no danger to the public.
