Nightwork on northbound I-25 at South Academy Blvd. begins Sept. 29-30

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO)-- El Paso County is issuing a traffic advisory for this weekend (Sept. 29-30) for the Military Access, Mobility & Safety Improvement Project (MAMSIP) on South Academy Boulevard. 

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be temporarily closing the northbound I-25 off-ramp at South Academy Boulevard (mile 135) nightly on Friday and Saturday, September 29 – 30, beginning at 8 p.m. for concrete roadway paving. 

All lanes will be re-open at 9 a.m. daily and detours will be in place for traffic to exit at South Academy Boulevard and continue north to Lake Avenue/South Circle Drive (mile 138), where they can turn around and re-enter I-25 south to South Academy Boulevard.
