Water main break shuts down Alpine Place; impacts to Tesla Educational Opportunity School

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- A water main break has closed Alpine Place between Collier Ave. and Snyder Ave. 

According to Colorado Springs Utilities, the break will affect bus and parent/student access to Tesla Educational Opportunity School (School District 11) from Alpine Place. 

Colorado Springs Utilities stated access availability from Chelton Rd. Water service to the school will not be impacted. 

Drivers in and around this area should use alternative routes and/or expect delays in their commute.
