Celebrate Labor Day weekend at the Commonwheel Artists 49th Annual Festival
MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- The Commonwheel Artists 49th Annual Labor Day Festival returns to Manitou Springs and it’s the perfect late summer adventure for the whole family.
The Labor Day event will be from September 2-4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Memorial Park, located at 502 Manitou Ave. in Manitou Springs.
The Festival will see more than 80 artists from all over the state and country offering diverse collections of glass and wood installations, photography, jewelry, paintings, pottery, and more!
The event will also see plenty of activities for families to participate in as well as food and live entertainment from six local bands performing this year.
Below is a line-up of the music performances that will be at the festival:
- Saturday, September 2
- Tidal Breeze Hot Club Jazz: 12-2:00 p.m.
- A Carpenter’s Daughter: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- Sunday, September 3
- High Mountain Duet: 12-2 p.m.
- LOOK’EE Here: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- Monday, September 4
- Roma Ransom: 12-2 p.m.
- Interrobang Unplugged: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
The Commonwheel Artists Labor Day Festival has origins going back to 1973, when a group Colorado artists opened the Commonwheel Artists Co-op and began sharing their art.
