Two people taken to hospital following a shooting on Garner St.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- An investigation into a shooting is now underway after two people were taken to the hospital. 

Officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) were called to the 1000 block of Garner St. around 9:44 p.m. on Monday, August 28. 

They reported finding two victims related to the shooting at the scene and stated both victims sustained gunshot wounds and had to be taken to the hospital. 

As of now, no further surrounding the shooting has been released.
