Kitchen fire at Fountain Springs Apartments leaves four people without homes
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- Four people are now without homes following damage from a kitchen fire that broke out on the night of Tuesday, August 1.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to the incident at around 10:59 p.m. at the Fountain Springs Apartments.
They reported the fire was contained by first responders within minutes of arrival.
The fire was contained to a single apartment and it was reported that no other units were affected by the incident.
CSFD stated as a result of the fire, four individuals are now displaced and one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
