Keystone now open for the 2022-23 ski season

KEYSTONE, Colo. (KRDO) -- Keystone Resort is officially open for the 2022-23 winter season.

Keystone said that more than a foot of snow has fallen this week and temperatures have been great for snowmaking.

Keystone is the first resort on the Epic Pass to open for the season and is now open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests have access to nearly 2 miles of trails from the top of Dercum Mountain to the bottom of the Montezuma Express lift, offering approximately 40 acres of terrain and a mountaintop hike-to terrain park.

First-time and beginner skiers and riders also have access to learning terrain at the top of the mountain via the Kokomo Carpet.

At the end of the ski day, guests can download the River Run Gondola back to the base of the resort.
