DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Denver Police Department (DPD) responded to a report of an active shooter Monday afternoon at Denver East High School.

Both the DPD and Denver Public Schools said there are no signs of an active shooter and the report has been unfounded. There are also no reports of injuries.

Students were taken outside of the school to the football field.

Denver Public schools said parents should go to the large statue in City Park.

DPD said this is still an active scene and they will provide updates.
