CASA of the Pikes Peak Region to host Night of Hope, proceeds going towards helping children

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- This weekend, the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) of the Pikes Peak Region is hosting a night of live music, dancing, games, and more. The proceeds will go towards helping children in need.
According to organizers, proceeds from the CASA Goes Country event will go directly to programs that help support abused and neglected children.
CASA organizers say roughly 800 children need help from CASA per year.
During the event, which is the organization's first time putting it on, people are encouraged to wear their country and western attire.
CASA Goes Country is happening at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame Saturday, Sept. 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is for ages 21 and older. Individual tickets are $125 and a reserved table for eight is $1,000.
