Woman killed in shooting on Pueblo’s east side
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department is investigating a homicide on the east side of town.
Officers were called to the 900 block of E. 7th St. on reports of a shooting just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived at the scene, officers found a woman with gunshot wounds. She was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time the victim's identity is not being released. The coroner will identify her after notifying her family.
This is the 18th homicide in Pueblo city limits in 2022. The Police Department is asking anyone who may have any information on this case to call them at 719-553-2502, or Pueblo Crimestoppers at 719-542-7867.
