Colorado Springs Fire assisted with a rescue at Cave of the Winds
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A person fell into a cave at Cave of the Winds in Manitou Springs.
Colorado Springs Fire confirmed they were assisting Manitou with getting the person out of the cave. A Manitou Springs Paramedic says she fell about 100 yards into the tour.
Chief John Forsett from Manitou says a 20-year-old female fell. She sustained a possible head injury.
At this time, the female has been extracted. It was an easy extrication to get her out and she walked out partially under her own power, according to Manitou Springs Paramedics.
