Colorado State Patrol responded to a deadly motorcycle crash in Teller County

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado State Patrol (CSP) confirmed that a motorcycle rider was killed in a crash in Teller County on Thursday evening.

CSP says that the accident included a Honda Fit and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was a 66-year-old from Florissant. He died on the scene according to CSP.

CSP says that the accident was on Teller County Road 11, by Mile Post 1. They suspect the motorcyclist was at fault. The driver of the Honda was a 37-year-old. She sustained minor injuries and was transported to the local hospital.

At this time CSP believes that speed is a factor in this crash, alcohol, and drugs are not.
