Touch-a-Truck event happened Wednesday in Woodland Park

WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Resource Exchange hosted its annual Touch-a-Truck event Wednesday in Woodland Park.

The event provides a hands-on opportunity for children to learn about large vehicles they see every day in the community. Featured vehicles will include fire engines, school buses, snowplows, and more.

Personnel who operate the vehicles will also be on hand to answer questions and discuss how the vehicles work.

The event is free and open to the public. It took place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Meadow Wood Sports Complex, located at 2000 Evergreen Heights Dr. in Woodland Park.
