Colorado Springs man arrested for ‘Human Trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude’

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A 38-year-old Colorado Springs man was taken into custody and faces multiple charges related to the sex trafficking of a minor.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl on social media was contacted by Jordan Jago.

Police say Jargo paid the detective, who he believed to be a teen girl, to travel from her city to his home in Colorado Springs. According to CSPD, Jago also helped set up an OnlyFans account to "facilitate posting sexually explicit content."

He went on to tell the undercover detective he would "help set prices for her content on OnlyFans."

OnlyFans is an "internet content subscription service" where "creators" can receive funding from "fans" through tips and a pay-per-view feature. While the platform hosts an array of content creators, ABC News notes it's known to be used for sex work.

In addition to the Human Trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude, police say Jago intended to have sex with the minor when she arrived at his house.

On August 2, 2022, members of the Metro Vice Narcotics and Intelligence Division (MVNI) arrested Jago for Human Trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude and several other felony sexual offenses involving a juvenile.

Human Trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude is a Class Two Felony offense.
