2 dead following shooting at apartment complex in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) says two people are dead following a shooting at an apartment complex near northeast Colorado Springs.

CSPD officers were called to a reported shooting at the Incline Apartments on the 3100 block of Sinton Rd. just after 7 p.m. Wednesday. When officers arrived they found one of the victims - an adult male - had already passed away from gunshot wounds. A second man was transported to the hospital to the hospital with gunshot wounds but later died from his injuries.

No suspects have been named, however, CSPD says no suspects are outstanding and there is no known danger to the community. The victims have not yet been identified. The Violent Crimes Homicide/Assault Division has taken over the investigation into this incident.
