Overnight road closure planned for Purcell Boulevard at the intersection of US 50 in Pueblo

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) says that Purcell Boulevard at the intersection of US 50 will be closed so that crews can pour concrete onto half of the new bridge structure.

The closure will be on July 10, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

CDOT says that a similar closure is expected on July 17, 2022, to complete the second half of the bridge.

CDOT states that motorists are advised to use alternate routes to access areas along Purcell Boulevard, both north, and south of US 50.

CDOT expects slight delays for motorists using this intersection and asks motorists to please plan for additional travel time.
