Chapel Hills Mall COVID-19 testing site closing

KRDO

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado health officials are pushing to get COVID-19 testing back to a traditional health care setting. To do that, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is closing several testing sites around the state.

On June 30, 2022, the COVID-19 testing site at the Chapel Hills Mall will close.

Testing will still be available through federal programs, including the Test to Treat program and free, at-home rapid tests.

The Citadel Mall testing site will remain open. That site is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week, except for the upcoming Independence Day holiday on July 4.
