US Olympic & Paralympic Museum to host Hall of Fame Festival
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The US Olympic & Paralympic Museum is gearing up to host a celebratory Hall of Fame Festival. on June 25-27. Nearly 30 members of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame will be participating in the three-day event.
Friday, June 24, the class of 2022 will be inducted into the US Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame. The ceremony will feature inductees like Michael Phelps, Lindsey Vonn, and Michelle Kwan. While Friday's ceremony will not be open to the public, the festival welcomes everyone from the community.
Come Saturday, June 25, the Hall of Fame Festival will begin. Hall of Fame athletes will engage with guests through meet and greets and autograph signings over the three-day festival.
The Museum will also be unveiling the first public access to new digital exhibits for the induction call of 2022.
The weekend will feature a free performance by the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, a soccer clinic with Brandy Chastain, and the International Sports Film Festival.
