Windy, dry conditions prompt Red Flag Warning in Pueblo on Monday

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Pueblo County due to high winds and dry conditions.

Monday, the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) tweeted out the county is under critical weather conditions until 12 p.m.

Critical weather conditions today. A high wind warning until 12 pm with periods of blowing dust expected that could cause visibility issues. Also a RED FLAG WARNING due to the dry, windy conditions. There will be periods of blowing dust that could cause visibility issues.

Sheriff's office wants to remind the Pueblo community that burning is prohibited.

As of Monday, Pueblo County remains in Stage One Fire Restrictions.
