PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Pueblo Police have taken a man in custody following a standoff Friday morning.

The standoff began around 8 a.m. in the 1900-2000 block of Sprague Ave., between Beulah Ave. and Van Buren St.

The Pueblo Police Department says 25-year-old James Armon was wanted on felony warrants for robbery and assault.

When police arrived, multiple people exited the home and complied with the officer's orders, however, Armon did not.

Just before noon, police deployed distraction devices and gas inside the home, forcing Armon outside. He was then taken into custody.

In total, the standoff lasted almost four hours.
