WEATHER ALERT: BITTER COLD TEMPS TONIGHT AND ICY ROADS LINGER

TONIGHT: Snow tapers off and skies clear then bitter cold temps near 0° settle in keeping icy roads in the forecast until later tomorrow morning.

TOMORROW: Increasing sunshine and temps gradually rebounding back into the 30's for most areas. Near 40° for the far eastern Plains.

WEEKEND: Entering into a ridge of high pressure for the weekend forecast. Plenty of sunshine with temperatures pushing into the 40s and 50s through the start of next week.

Next snow storm returns on around Tuesday and into Wednesday of next week.
