Colorado Springs police arrest man trying to set gas pumps on fire

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO)-- Colorado Springs arrested a man suspected of trying to light gas pumps on fire Sunday, around 8:30 p.m. According to a press release it happened on the 3000 blk of Hancock Expy; callers told dispatch about the arson attempt, and that the suspect was armed with a knife.

When officers arrived they found and arrested the suspect while interviewing witnesses at the scene. 39-year-old Tory Zellers was placed under arrest on several charges, including Attempted Fourth Degree Arson, Attempted First Degree Assault, and Felony Menacing.
