EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stabbing that happened in the parking lot of a Widefield apartment complex.
Just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to reports of a stabbing near 130 Kokomo Street. At the scene was a man who had been stabbed in the neck.
Deputies say a woman stabbed the man then ran into an unknown apartment unit at the complex.
On Wednesday, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as Delilah Williams, 37.
The sheriff's office said she was arrested on charges of attempted second-degree murder, second-degree assault, and child abuse without injury.
The sheriff's office did say the suspect and victim knew each other.
The victim is in the hospital recovering.
