Colorado State Patrol: Pueblo motorcycle crash sent three people to the hospital

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado State Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident that left three people in the hospital over the weekend.

CSP got reports of a motorcycle versus a Buick near Thatcher Ave. and Windy way around 8:33 p.m. on Sunday. At the scene, troopers found three people, two adult women, and an adult man.

The Buick had one occupant, and the motorcycle had a driver and a passenger. All three victims were transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is still unknown.

CSP shutdown Thatcher Ave. at 9:42 p.m. while crews worked to clear the scene. The road reopened around 10:40 p.m.

At this time, CSP says drugs and alcohol are not considered factors and they are unsure who was at fault. This is an active investigation.

The Pueblo Police Department assisted with traffic control.
