Northbound Academy Blvd. closed following auto vs. pedestrian

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A portion of the intersection at Flintridge and Academy closed down Friday night following an auto versus pedestrian crash.

According to police, a woman was hit by a car Friday evening. No word on the extent of her injuries.

Police say all of Northbound Academy Blvd. is currently blocked near Flintridge Dr. No word on when the road will be back open.

Drivers are asked to avoid this area.
