More activities, galleries open for First Friday in Colorado Springs since COVID-19 restrictions were lifted

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- This month's First Friday in Downtown Colorado Springs will be the first since COVID-19 restrictions were lifted across the state.

The 'Popular Arts on the Street Scavenger Hunt' will return. Anyone wanting to participate must preregister.

Downtown Colorado Springs says more businesses and galleries will open their doors. This month G44 Gallery celebrates its relocation from South 8th Street to the NoDo Arts Block.

Catch live music at the following Downtown venues on Friday, June 4:

  • 5:30-8 p.m.: CrystalEyez at VIP Real Estate (125 N. Tejon St.). Indoor concert. Free admission.
  • 6-8 p.m.: HeartStrings Bluegrass at The Edge (auxiliary space of First United Methodist Church, 324 N. Nevada Ave.). Outdoor concert. Free admission.
  • 8:30-10:45 p.m.: Rhythm and the Rose at Wild Goose Meeting House (401 N. Tejon St.). Indoor and outdoor seating available. $5 cover.
