Two wanted fugitives arrested at Pueblo residence, additional arrest made

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- A detective with the Pueblo Police Department Criminal Information Section arrested two wanted suspects and another man after conducting surveillance on a residence.

Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., the detective conducted surveillance on a residence in the 1000 block of Fearnow Avenue after receiving information from the Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Adult Parole that two wanted fugitives were staying at the residence.

The Detective was able to identify both men walking in and out of the residence. With help from patrol and parole officers, detectives arrested Timothy Ortiz, 35, and Michael Martinez, 39.

Martinez was arrested for his felony and misdemeanor warrants, Possession of a Schedule 1 & 2 Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Financial Device, and Violation of Restraining Order. Ortiz was arrested for two felony warrants.

While at the residence, the detective and officers also found Dillon Crowell-Even, 30, who was arrested for Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender.

Following a search of the residence and associated vehicles, three handguns, 6.9 grams of methamphetamine, and 24.1 grams of heroin were seized.
