PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- Colorado State Patrol is investigating after a rollover crash on I-25 in Pueblo County Saturday leaves one person dead.

According to CSP, the crash happened around 2:11 p.m. near the Purcell boulevard exit and milepost 111.

When troopers arrived, they found a Colorado Springs man had died from injuries sustained in the crash, after being ejected from his vehicle.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the 1985 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling south on I-25 in the left lane when the driver lost control. The truck traveled into the center median, where it rolled multiple times and blocked the northbound lanes.

Parts of I-25 were closed in both directions for more than three hours Saturday afternoon. Tire failure is being investigated as a possible factor in the crash.
