Apartment fire closes part of Circle Dr. at Winnepeg

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- All northbound and southbound lanes of Circle Drive at Winnepeg are closed while crews work on a structure fire in the area.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to reports of a basement fire at the Oakridge on the Green Apartments.

At 4:44 p.m., CSFD reported crews had the fire knocked down and they were searching for any hidden fire.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
