Both directions of Dublin Blvd. closed for hours Sunday, following crash

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Both directions of Dublin Blvd., between Austin Bluffs Pkwy and Galliant Dr., were closed for hours Sunday, following a crash.

Officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Dublin Blvd., west of Austin Bluffs Pkwy., around 12:33 p.m.

According to police, when officers arrived, they found one person unresponsive inside the vehicle. The person was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

The department's major crash team responded and has since assumed responsibility for the investigation. Investigators believe the person in the vehicle may have suffered a medical episode just before the crash.

Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
