Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival is back

CAÑON CITY, Colo. (KRDO) - The Music and Blossom Festival is back in town this year, after it was canceled last year because of the pandemic.

The annual festival's parade was a hit Saturday, with hundreds of residents and visitors lining Main street to see school bands, law enforcement, and other local organizations.

"The fresh air is great. We’ve been doing this for seventeen years, the only one we missed was last year," Melynda Kroll told KRDO. "Military, police, we support them all."

“I’m so glad to finally get out and see everybody be normal," Zita Smith explained. "And then you see all your friends walking around, you know?”

The festival also features dozens of Cañon City food and craft vendors.
