Fuel spill in Pueblo West closed part McCulloch Blvd

PUEBLO WEST, Colo. (KRDO) -- McCulloch Boulevard is back open after a fuel spill closed part of the road Wednesday morning.

Officials say a semi made too tight of a turn onto McCulloch from Highway 50 when one of the fuel tanks ripped off of the truck.

Diesel fuel from the tank subsequently spilled all over the lanes on McCulloch.

North and southbound lanes of McCulloch Blvd at Highway 50 were closed for hours.
