Monarch Pass re-open after avalanche closure

TRAFFIC ALERT: According to CDOT, Highway 50 through Monarch Pass was closed in both directions at mile marker 205, extending from mile marker 190 and County Road 228, due to an avalanche.

The road re-opened around 7:30.
