Vaccinations continue for Pueblo first responders and health care workers
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- On Wednesday, the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment continued the vaccination process of first responders and health care workers.
Wednesday morning, dozens of vehicles could be seen lined down Eagleridge Drive to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Pueblo Fire Station #2.

Vaccines will be distributed from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Fire Station #2. For the time being, the vaccine station will come to an end after Wednesday. However, if the need for further health care workers or first responders to receive the vaccine remains, it could continue later into the week.
It is unclear how many vaccines will be distributed Wednesday. Health officials say they will administer as many as they can. However, the general public is not permitted to receive the vaccine in Pueblo County just yet.
You may have seen Gov. Polis FB this AM. We're almost there, but not yet. Please do not go to a vaccine site unless you have been notified to do so. We're not yet to the phase of vaccinating those ages 70+, but we are close. Read full msg: https://t.co/rjysiDuSt8
