COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- O'Grady's Cell Phone Repair and Game Shop in Colorado Springs told KRDO someone is impersonating an employee as part of a spoofing attack.

An employee of O'Grady's said they believe someone posed as a worker on Facebook and claimed to be selling PlayStation 5 consoles. As far as they know, the impersonator managed to scam two people out of $400 and $500.

The business released a statement to their Facebook saying "Any attempt to collect payment online from an O'Grady's team member is a scam and should be reported."

The employee also told KRDO the business does not deal with new game systems.

No word on whether or not the police are involved.
