Several roads closed after a multi-car crash sends two to the hospital and one man to jail.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Three cars were involved in a crash Friday night that sent two people to the hospital, and ultimately landed one man in jail.

Colorado Springs Police said that around 11:30 Friday night they responded to a multi-car crash at the intersection of South Academy Blvd. and East Pikes Peak that resulted in several roads being closed.

According to police, two women and one man were transported to local hospitals with injuries that ranged from minor to serious. police said 24 year-old Michael Ahmed was arrested on a number of traffic violations, including DUI.

The crash is still under investigation and no other information is available at this time.
