Man stabbed while hiking in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Around 10:30 Friday night, Colorado Springs police responded to a call of a stabbing near Weber and Bijou.

The victim told police he was stabbed twice in the back three days earlier while hiking on the trail near I-25 and Cimarron. He said he was having trouble breathing and asked a friend to call an ambulance to take him to the hospital, where he was admitted with serious injuries.

Police have very little information about a suspect and said the investigation is ongoing.

    1. Read the whole story. According to the second paragraph: “The victim told police he was stabbed twice in the back three days earlier while hiking on the trail near I-25 and Cimarron.”

      1. That pretty much is what the article says. Let me clear it up for you, a homeless person was stabbed in the area of I-25 and Cimmarron three days ago and finally told someone, probably a church member or similar and was taken to the hospital. That was easy.

        1. There’s no evidence of the person being homeless, although that would fit the circumstances. My point was that the victim was not “Hiking at 10:30pm on Cimmarron and I-25” like cwajga7 said.
