Search for juvenile suspect following Widefield shooting
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital.
Deputies were called to the 6900 block of Caballero Ave., just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators believe a 14-year-old shot the victim before fleeing the scene.
The victim's condition is unknown at this time. The juvenile suspect is still being sought, though the El Paso County Sheriff's Office says there's no danger to the public. It's believed the suspect and the victim are somehow connected, though investigators would not further elaborate.
